Empowering Skills Development: Exploring the Role of Technology Management in Technical Vocational Education Enhancement
Main Article Content
Abstract
This comprehensive study delves into the transformative role of technology management in technical vocational education (TVET) and its multifaceted impact on skills development, program quality, adaptability, employability, and industry relevance. Through an integrative literature review and meta-analysis, it unravels a rich tapestry of insights that illuminate the profound implications of adeptly integrating technology into TVET. Findings reveal a significant positive correlation between effective technology management practices and enhanced skills development, underscoring technology's pivotal role in empowering learners with relevant competencies for the contemporary workforce. Moreover, the study highlights how technology management elevates program quality, aligning curricula, teaching methods, and learning materials with industry standards and technological advancements. In the dynamic landscape of employment, technology-managed TVET programs produce graduates endowed with remarkable adaptability. This adaptability enhances employability, as employers increasingly value individuals who can swiftly master new technologies. Furthermore, close collaboration with industry stakeholders ensures that TVET programs remain aligned with the evolving needs of the job market, equipping graduates with industry-relevant skills. Ultimately, this study illuminates the enduring significance of technology management in TVET, shaping the education and career trajectories of students in a rapidly evolving digital era.
