The following article is devoted to the methods of developing lexical competence of students of the academic lyceum, in which linguistic exercises related to the formation of lexical competence are not only receptive, but also reproductive, the implementation of existing communication, methodical preparation of the lexicon, the selection of the lexicon, the distribution of the lexicon, the formation of lexical skills stated.
