Abstract

In the Islāmic world, the issue of fiqh taqlid, i.e. sectarianism, has always been relevant. There are many examples from history and today that sectarianism leads to great problems and seditions in many Muslim countries. Most of the scholars recognized in the Islāmic world have emphasized the necessity of sectarianism and have shown many positive aspects of fiqh taqlid in their works. In particular, every Islāmic scholar who considers himself to be a member of a fiqh sect approached this issue as a responsible task of choosing the right path for himself and the entire Muslim community.
