AMBIDEXTERITY IN ORGANIZATIONS: STRUCTURAL AND CONTEXTUAL INSIGHTS

Abstract
This study explores the concept of organizational ambidexterity, focusing on both structural and contextual approaches that enable organizations to balance exploration and exploitation activities. Structural ambidexterity emphasizes the creation of separate units or processes to manage innovative and operational tasks, while contextual ambidexterity highlights the role of organizational culture and leadership in fostering flexibility and alignment within the same framework. Through a comparative analysis of case studies across industries, the research identifies critical factors such as leadership adaptability, resource allocation strategies, and cultural dynamics that drive organizational success in dynamic environments. The findings underscore the importance of integrating both approaches to sustain competitive advantage in rapidly changing markets.
