Abstract

This study examines the role of transformational and servant leadership in building collective efficacy within educational settings. Collective efficacy, defined as a group’s shared belief in its ability to achieve goals, is critical for creating collaborative and high-performing school environments. This research explores how transformational leaders, who inspire and motivate, alongside servant leaders, who prioritize the growth and well-being of their team, contribute to fostering a culture of shared responsibility and confidence among educators. Through a mixed-methods approach, data were collected from surveys, interviews with school leaders and teachers, and observations across diverse educational institutions. Findings reveal that schools led by leaders who integrate transformational and servant leadership approaches experience higher levels of teacher collaboration, engagement, and commitment to student success. Additionally, the study highlights the importance of leadership practices that encourage trust, shared vision, and continuous professional development as foundational elements for collective efficacy. Recommendations are provided for educational leaders seeking to build collective efficacy through a blend of transformational and servant leadership approaches, ultimately enhancing school performance and student outcomes.
