SERVANT LEADERSHIP PRACTICES AND SCHOOL CLIMATE: EXPLORING THE FILIPINO CONTEXT

Abstract

This study explores the relationship between servant leadership practices and school climate within the Filipino context. It examines how school leaders who embrace servant leadership principles, such as empathy, listening, and community-building, influence the overall atmosphere of schools in the Philippines. Through interviews and surveys with teachers, administrators, and students, the research identifies the impact of servant leadership on fostering a positive, collaborative, and inclusive school environment. The findings highlight that servant leadership practices contribute to improved teacher morale, student engagement, and a supportive school culture. The study offers recommendations for integrating servant leadership principles into school leadership practices to enhance school climate in Filipino educational institutions.
