Abstract

This article explores the pragmatics of religious lexicon in Uzbek, focusing on how religious terms function in everyday speech, religious texts, and public discourse. It highlights their role in expressing politeness, social cohesion, and moral guidance, while reflecting cultural and religious values. The study shows how these expressions shape communication and reinforce community identity in Uzbek society.
