EMPOWERING STUDENTS IN THE DIGITAL AGE: TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT IN VOCATIONAL EDUCATION
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study explores technology management practices in vocational education aimed at empowering students in the digital age. As vocational programs increasingly incorporate digital tools and technologies, effective technology management becomes essential to equipping students with relevant skills for the modern workforce. While technology integration in vocational education is well-researched, there remains a gap in understanding the specific management practices that maximize student empowerment and learning outcomes. The objective of this study is to identify effective technology management strategies in vocational education, focusing on their role in fostering digital literacy, technical proficiency, and student confidence. Using a qualitative approach, interviews and case studies were conducted with educators and administrators from various vocational institutions. Key findings indicate that proactive management practices, such as providing hands-on training, ensuring technology accessibility, and offering continuous support, play a crucial role in enhancing student engagement and readiness for the workforce. The implications of this research underscore the need for strategic technology management to create adaptive and skills-oriented learning environments in vocational settings.
