Abstract
Teaching English as a second language (ESL) or as a foreign language (EFL) poses unique challenges and opportunities, especially for young teachers. With a diverse array of learners in the classroom, effective teaching methods are essential for fostering language acquisition and engagement. This article explores several effective teaching methods, including Communicative Language Teaching (CLT), Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT), and the use of technology in language instruction. It provides practical strategies for implementation, along with considerations for adapting to various learner needs. By understanding and applying these methods, young teachers can enhance their effectiveness and inspire a love for the English language in their students.
