Abstract

This study explores the integration of culturally responsive pedagogy with innovative speaking practices to foster oral proficiency among learners in diverse educational settings. By recognizing and valuing students’ cultural backgrounds, this approach enhances engagement and provides meaningful contexts for language use. The research employs a mixed-methods design, combining classroom observations, teacher interviews, and student performance assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of these strategies. Findings indicate that incorporating culturally relevant materials, collaborative speaking activities, and technology-enhanced tools significantly improves learners' confidence, fluency, and communicative competence. Moreover, the study highlights the role of culturally inclusive teaching in addressing language barriers and promoting equitable opportunities for language development. Practical recommendations are offered for educators seeking to enhance oral proficiency while fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
