The State of Theory and Practice in Preparing "Preschool Education" Students for Pedagogical Activities
Main Article Content
Abstract
The article discusses the current state of preparing students specializing in "Preschool Education" for pedagogical activities, both in theory and practice, and elaborates on the tasks that need to be addressed in this regard.
Working with respondent students, conducting surveys and tests, organizing interviews and question-answer sessions, and analyzing the period before practical trials revealed that the students' preparedness for organizing pedagogical activities in preschool educational institutions is unsatisfactory. Although the majority of students have theoretically mastered the basics of the subject "Pedagogy," they still lack the skills to prepare preschool children for school life, protect them from negative social influences, and provide pedagogical support to families.
The research conducted in this study showed that, in preparing students for pedagogical activities at higher education institutions, more hours should be allocated in the curriculum to practical classes and pedagogical practices.
