Abstract
This article explores the semantic characteristics of neologisms related to the construction industry, highlighting how new words or terms emerge to describe the concepts and realities associated with modern building practices. The paper discusses various translation methods for these neologisms, such as transcription, transliteration, and adoption. It categorizes neologisms into lexical and semantic types, presenting examples from the construction field and illustrating how foreign terms, especially from English and Russian, have influenced the Uzbek language. Additionally, it examines the role of neologisms in the evolving vocabulary of construction and their integration into everyday language.
