Abstract

The pragmatic characteristics of Uzbek and Russian historical prose genres are considered in 
the article below. One of the factors reflecting the culture of the nation, the national values of the 
identity of the people, is the oral creativity of the people, which is unique for this people. Historical 
prose, one of the most important genres of folklore and one of the most important genres of folklore, 
is one of the most important topics in linguistics and folklore. The study of historical prose, one of 
the most important genres of folklore, and folk art in general, is of great importance today. For 
centuries, folklorists have organized expeditions for historical prose to remote villages in their 
countries and from year to year have collected unique historical prose from vernacular on various 
topics. Thus, historical prose was used by people in relation to the concepts of education, at the 
expense of the most important wealth left by their ancestors.
