Abstract

In my study, I investigate the intricate relationship between sports governance and administrative transparency in Iraq, emphasizing its crucial role in enhancing decision-making processes within sports organizations. By addressing a significant gap in existing literature, this study offers a comprehensive analysis of how transparent governance can lead to improved accountability and organizational performance. the descriptive-analytical method and the case study approach were used due to their suitability for the research problem.

The findings are structured into three main sections: the historical context and development of sports governance in Iraq, an analysis of current governance practices focusing on transparency, and case studies of various Iraqi sports organizations that illustrate the practical benefits of enhanced transparency. The conclusion reaffirms the thesis that administrative transparency is vital for effective governance in Iraqi sports, ultimately calling for policymakers and administrators to prioritize this aspect to foster better governance outcomes.
