This article examines modern trends in teaching the Russian language, taking into account both traditional and innovative approaches. The main teaching methods used in the educational process are analyzed, as well as the importance of intercultural communication and digital technologies. Special attention is paid to the integration of new pedagogical strategies into the learning system.
The evolution of Russian language teaching methodology reflects a dynamic interplay between traditional pedagogical principles and innovative educational technologies. This study explores the integration of classical teaching methods, such as the grammar-translation and communicative approaches, with modern strategies, including project-based learning, cooperative learning, and digital tools. Despite significant advancements, a knowledge gap remains in effectively balancing these methods to optimize student engagement and linguistic proficiency. A qualitative research approach is employed, utilizing theoretical analysis and a review of contemporary pedagogical practices to assess their impact on language acquisition. The findings highlight the growing significance of digital platforms, multimedia tools, and intercultural communication in enhancing student motivation and comprehension. Results indicate that combining traditional and innovative methodologies fosters a more adaptive and effective learning environment, accommodating diverse learning styles and improving communicative competence. The study's implications emphasize the necessity for educators to integrate digital literacy and interactive techniques while preserving the structured foundation of classical teaching approaches. Further research should explore the long-term effectiveness of blended learning models and the role of artificial intelligence in personalized language education.
