Abstract

The article provides information about the origin and botanical family of the leek.

The morphological structure of leeks differs sharply from other types of onions and its biological properties are described.

The chemical composition of leeks and how to use them for disease prevention are explained in detail. Information is provided on the characteristics of seed germination and the shelf life of these characteristics.
