THE IMPACT OF ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE ON LEADERSHIP EFFECTIVENESS IN CRISIS MANAGEMENT IN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

Abstract
This study investigates the influence of organizational culture on the effectiveness of leadership in managing crises within educational institutions. By analyzing case studies and survey data from schools and universities, the research identifies how cultural values, norms, and practices shape leaders' decision-making processes, adaptability, and overall crisis response. The findings indicate that institutions with collaborative, adaptive, and inclusive cultures enable leaders to respond more effectively to challenges such as pandemics, natural disasters, and financial crises. Conversely, rigid and hierarchical cultures often hinder timely and innovative responses. The study provides actionable recommendations for fostering a supportive organizational culture to enhance leadership effectiveness in crisis scenarios, offering a framework for education sector leaders and policymakers.
