EXAMINING THE IMPACT OF TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP ON ORGANIZATIONAL RESILIENCE DURING CRISES

Abstract
This study examines the impact of transformational leadership on organizational resilience during crises, exploring how leadership behaviors influence the capacity of organizations to navigate and recover from disruptions. Transformational leadership, characterized by inspiring and motivating employees, fostering innovation, and promoting a shared vision, plays a critical role in helping organizations adapt to challenges and sustain performance in times of crisis. Through a comprehensive review of existing literature and case studies, the study highlights the key leadership traits and strategies that contribute to enhanced organizational resilience, such as communication, empathy, and strategic foresight. The paper also delves into the mechanisms through which transformational leaders can instill a culture of resilience, including empowering teams, fostering collaboration, and ensuring continuous learning. Additionally, the study identifies the challenges faced by transformational leaders during crises, such as resistance to change, burnout, and decision-making under uncertainty. The findings underscore the importance of transformational leadership in cultivating a resilient organizational culture that not only survives but thrives during crises. Recommendations for leaders in various sectors are provided to strengthen their approach to crisis management and improve organizational resilience.
