THE ROLE OF TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP IN PROMOTING EDUCATIONAL INNOVATION
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study explores the role of transformational leadership in promoting educational innovation, focusing on how visionary leadership can inspire and drive change within educational institutions. Transformational leadership, which emphasizes motivation, individualized support, and fostering a shared vision, plays a pivotal role in cultivating a culture of innovation that enhances teaching, learning, and institutional growth. Using a qualitative research approach, including interviews with educational leaders and case studies of innovative schools, the study investigates how transformational leaders encourage risk-taking, foster collaboration, and empower educators to adopt new pedagogical practices and technologies. Findings indicate that transformational leadership creates an environment where educators feel supported and motivated to experiment with innovative approaches, resulting in improved student outcomes and organizational success. The research underscores the importance of leadership in shaping the direction of educational reform and provides practical recommendations for school leaders aiming to implement innovative strategies in their institutions.
