Abstract

This study examines the barriers to digital transformation in education and industry, offering insights into the challenges organizations face and strategies for overcoming them. Digital transformation has become essential for modernizing systems, improving efficiency, and fostering innovation, yet both sectors often encounter significant obstacles in its implementation. Drawing from case studies in education and industry, the research identifies common barriers, such as resistance to change, inadequate infrastructure, lack of digital skills, and organizational culture issues. The study explores how leadership, policy changes, and stakeholder engagement can help mitigate these challenges. Findings highlight the importance of fostering a culture of innovation, providing continuous professional development, and ensuring adequate technological support to facilitate digital adoption. The study also offers practical recommendations for institutions and businesses to overcome resistance and enhance their digital capabilities, emphasizing the need for a strategic, inclusive, and adaptive approach. Insights from this research are aimed at guiding both educational institutions and industry leaders in successfully navigating the complexities of digital transformation.
