Bibliometric Analysis: Leasing Research

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to conduct a bibliometric analysis of the literature on leasing based on the Web of Science collection. The study included references to works on this topic published from 2000 to 2024, but since it was from 2005 that there was a significant increase in the number of studies. In total, about 1 163 of the most cited sources were analyzed. With the help of Web of Science analytics, the authors draw conclusions about the stages of studying this topic, as well as about the types of articles. The most productive institutions researching leasing relationships sources are The Ministry of Education Sciences of Ukraine, The Bucharest University of Economic Studies and University System of Georgia. Based on the citation analysis of works, the leading authors in this field are Svoboda Patrik, Bohusova Hana, Bright Susan, and the most citable publisher is Elsevier. It was revealed that the consideration of the authors' works, which are a "link" between several groups of scientists, is of interest. USA and China are the countries with the most significant cooperation in this field of study. Conducting such an analysis gives a level of prior studies of this topic, and helps to choose the most important, interesting and competent works for further study.
