Abstract

This article discusses the diagnosis, prevention and medical and social examination of occupational diseases (pneumoconiosis, siderosis, anthracosis and silicosis).

Worldwide, 270 million accidents and 160 million occupational diseases are recorded annually. Every year, about two million workers become disabled and die as a result of occupational diseases.
