Abstract

This study investigates the use of mobile learning platforms to enhance literacy development through a multisensory approach. Mobile learning, with its accessibility and flexibility, offers innovative opportunities for engaging students in literacy activities that integrate visual, auditory, and kinesthetic elements. While multisensory techniques are widely recognized for supporting literacy, there is a need to understand how mobile platforms can effectively deliver these methods in diverse learning environments. The objective of this study is to evaluate the impact of multisensory mobile learning tools on literacy skills, focusing on engagement, comprehension, and retention. A mixed-methods approach was used, involving pre- and post-assessment of literacy skills alongside student and teacher feedback on platform usability and effectiveness. Key findings show that multisensory mobile learning tools significantly improve literacy outcomes by providing dynamic, interactive experiences that support various learning styles. The implications of this research emphasize the potential for mobile learning to foster inclusive literacy education, particularly in resource-constrained settings.
