A Conceptual Framework for Educational Leadership and Management
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study presents a conceptual framework for educational leadership and management, focusing on the integration of leadership theories and management practices to foster effective school governance and organizational development. The framework aims to guide educational leaders in navigating the complexities of modern education systems, addressing challenges such as resource management, teacher development, student achievement, and policy implementation. Drawing on existing leadership models, including transformational, distributed, and instructional leadership, the study examines how these theories can be applied to enhance the management of educational institutions. Through a qualitative analysis of case studies, interviews with educational leaders, and a review of current literature, the research identifies key components of effective leadership, including vision, communication, decision-making, and strategic planning. The study provides a comprehensive model that combines leadership skills with management strategies to promote organizational growth, improve teaching quality, and achieve academic success. Practical recommendations for school leaders and policymakers are also offered to support the development of sustainable educational practices.
