- Abstract
- This sientific work examines the hydrodynamic processes pertinent to in-situ leaching, focusing on the extraction of precious metals from ore deposits through acid. A mathematical model, grounded in the principles of filtration-convection and diffusion characteristic of underground leaching, has been formulated to facilitate comprehensive analysis, monitoring, and prediction of system behavior. This model accounts for the influence of fluctuating hydrodynamic parameters, notably the filtration coefficient and medium porosity, which are contingent upon pressure levels and process kinetics. The main emphasis in this paper is on the variation of porosity as a function of pressure. Also, one of research objective is the protection of groundwater from potential contamination sources.
