Publication Ethics
IMJAT adheres to the highest standards of publication ethics to ensure the integrity, transparency, and credibility of the scholarly record. The journal strictly follows the internationally accepted guidelines and core practices established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), ensuring that all stages of the publication process are guided by ethical rigor. Authors are required to submit original, unpublished work and are expected to properly cite all sources, avoid data manipulation or fabrication, and refrain from submitting manuscripts to multiple journals simultaneously. Editorial decisions are made based solely on the academic merit, originality, and relevance of submissions, free from any form of bias, conflict of interest, or commercial influence. Peer reviewers are obligated to provide constructive, unbiased, and timely evaluations and maintain the confidentiality of the review process. IMJAT maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism, duplicate publication, and unethical research practices, and actively investigates all allegations of misconduct. When necessary, corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern will be issued to maintain the scholarly integrity of the journal. By submitting to IMJAT, authors and reviewers agree to uphold these ethical principles, reinforcing the journal’s commitment to academic excellence and responsible publishing.
All parties involved in the publication process—including authors, editors, reviewers, and publishers—are expected to uphold ethical behavior. Authors must submit original works, appropriately cite all sources, and avoid plagiarism, data fabrication, and redundant publication. Simultaneous submissions to multiple journals are not allowed.
Editors are responsible for making fair and objective decisions based solely on the manuscript’s academic merit, originality, and relevance to the journal’s scope. Reviewers are expected to evaluate manuscripts confidentially, constructively, and without conflict of interest.
Any allegations of misconduct, such as plagiarism or unethical research practices, will be thoroughly investigated by the editorial board. If proven, necessary actions will be taken, including corrections, retractions, or bans on future submissions.
By submitting to IMJAT, authors affirm their commitment to transparency, accountability, and ethical research practices.
