Peer Review Process
The practice of peer review is an essential part of maintaining substantial standards in publishing and brings out the best possible scientific content from potential authors and researchers globally. All articles submitted are first reviewed by the editorial staff through a Desk Review and Initial Manuscript Evaluation, conducted by eminent members of the Editorial Board.
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are then sent to two expert reviewers for a Double-Blind Peer Review Process, where the identities of both the authors and reviewers are kept anonymous to ensure objective evaluation. Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on substantial and technical merit.
Following the peer review, articles are returned to the authors for revision if required. The entire peer review process typically takes up to 4 weeks. Articles may be accepted without revision, accepted with minor or major revisions, or rejected based on the reviewers’ evaluations. Authors are informed of the peer review decision via email and are given a maximum of 8 weeks to submit the revised manuscript.
To uphold academic integrity, all accepted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using iThenticate, with a maximum acceptable similarity index of 20% before publication.
Articles that have completed the review and revision stages take an average of 8 weeks to reach final publication.
