Article Retraction & Withdrawal
Innovative: International Multidisciplinary Journal of Applied Technology (IMJAT) is fully committed to maintaining the integrity and transparency of the scholarly record. Retraction and withdrawal of published or submitted articles are handled according to international best practices and ethical publishing standards, including the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Articles may be retracted if there is clear evidence of ethical violations such as plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, unethical research, or serious errors that undermine the reliability of the results and conclusions. Retractions are formally published and linked to the original article, which remains accessible but is clearly labeled as "Retracted" in all versions.
Authors may request withdrawal of their manuscript before it has entered the peer review process. Once the review process has started, withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing with valid justification and are subject to approval by the editorial board. Withdrawal requests made after peer review or acceptance without a valid reason may be treated as unethical and may result in a submission ban.
Retractions and withdrawals are considered serious editorial actions and are managed carefully to ensure fairness, clarity, and accountability. IMJAT reserves the right to retract or withdraw publications when publication misconduct is confirmed, in alignment with COPE recommendations. These procedures reflect the journal's commitment to uphold scientific accuracy and responsible academic publishing.
