A Review of the Efficiency of Using Mnemonics and Graphic Organizers to Teach Young Learners English Vocabulary
Main Article Content
Abstract
. This thesis aims to investigate the effectiveness of using graphic organizers and mnemonics in teaching English vocabulary to young learners. Specifically, the study will examine whether these visual aids and memory aids can improve students' vocabulary retention and recall, and whether they have a greater impact on students' vocabulary learning compared to traditional teaching methods. The study will employ a mixed-methods design, combining both quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis methods. A sample of 100 young learners will be randomly assigned to either an experimental group or a control group, with each group receiving a different vocabulary teaching approach. The results of the study will provide insights into the effectiveness of graphic organizers and mnemonics in teaching English vocabulary to young learners, and can inform the development of more effective vocabulary teaching strategies for this age group.
