Abstract

A drone is an aerial vehicle designed to be used without a human pilot onboard. Drones are being used in a wide variety of applications, from surveilling perimeters to conducting 24/7 surveillance of huge sectors. Drone surveillance is the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to capture still images and video at a high altitude to gather information about specific targets. Surveillance drones have emerged as powerful tools in the realm of aerial monitoring. They have ushered in a new era for private investigators, expanding their capabilities in surveillance investigations beyond traditional means. The integration of drone technology into various sectors has paved the way for innovative solutions to age-old challenges. This paper highlights the applications, benefits, and challenges of drones in surveillance.
