Abstract

This study investigates the role of distributive leadership in fostering lifelong learning competencies among learners and educators. Distributive leadership, characterized by shared responsibilities and collaborative decision-making, has emerged as a transformative approach to bridging leadership and instruction. Using a mixed-methods design, the research draws insights from surveys, interviews, and case studies conducted across various educational institutions. The findings reveal that distributive leadership practices, such as empowering teachers, fostering teamwork, and promoting shared accountability, significantly enhance the development of lifelong learning competencies. These competencies include critical thinking, adaptability, and self-directed learning. The study underscores the importance of creating a culture of collaboration and continuous professional growth, offering actionable strategies for leaders aiming to integrate distributive practices in their institutions. Implications extend to policymakers and educators seeking innovative approaches to align leadership with instructional goals.
