EXAMINING THE ROLE OF LEADERSHIP IN MANAGING SCHOOL DISRUPTIONS DURING THE POST-PANDEMIC ERA

Abstract
This study explores the critical role of leadership in managing school disruptions during the post-pandemic era, focusing on strategies employed to ensure continuity and resilience in education. The COVID-19 pandemic reshaped the educational landscape, creating unprecedented challenges for school leaders in adapting to changing conditions, addressing learning gaps, and supporting teacher and student well-being. Using a qualitative approach, the research analyzes case studies from various educational institutions to identify effective leadership practices, such as fostering collaboration, leveraging technology, and prioritizing mental health initiatives. Findings reveal that transformational and adaptive leadership styles are particularly effective in navigating uncertainties, maintaining stakeholder engagement, and driving innovation. The study also highlights persistent challenges, including resource constraints and resistance to change, offering solutions to overcome these barriers. Practical recommendations are provided for school leaders to build resilient systems, embrace flexibility, and enhance community trust, ensuring sustainable education in the face of future disruptions.
