Abstract

This study explores the role of school leaders in shaping pedagogical practices to prepare future-ready learners in Singapore’s evolving education system. It examines how school leadership influences the adoption of innovative teaching methods, integration of technology, and the promotion of 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, and adaptability. Through interviews and surveys with school leaders, educators, and policymakers, the research identifies key leadership strategies in responding to the changing educational landscape. The findings highlight the importance of visionary leadership, professional development, and curriculum flexibility in ensuring that students are equipped to thrive in an increasingly complex and dynamic world. The study provides practical recommendations for school leaders to effectively guide pedagogical transformations.
